Mr. John Jerry A. Maramag who worked as Artist-Illustrator at the Art Section of UP NISMED in 1997 until 2003, reported back to the Institute on 7 January 2019. Jerry, a Creative Arts Specialist II in the same section, is a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts from U.P. College of Fine Arts Diliman. He likes to draw most of the time and to play basketball during his spare time.
Ms. Richen Angeline “Angel” M. Agrava served as Emergency Records Analyst at the Human Resources Development and Benefits Division of UP HRDO before her permanent appointment at UP NISMED on 10 January 2019. She is the new Administrative Officer I (Records Officer I) at the General Service Section. Angel, who likes reading mystery-thriller novels, is a BS Business Administration (Marketing Management) graduate.
On 17 June 2019, Mr. Miner S. Francisco joined the UP NISMED General Services Section as Administrative Aide VI (Mechanic) assigned to drive one of the Institute’s official vehicles. He replaced Mr. Santiago Silleza who retired from the service in 2018. Miner is a graduate of BS Business Administration (Management) and has served the UP Office of the University Registrar for almost three years before joining UP NISMED. Miner likes to play basketball and video games during his free time.
Mr. Nuranio “Allan” P. Berunio finished the 2-year Computer Technology course and holds national certificates in electronics technology, electrical installation, shielded metal arc welding, and air-condition servicing. Before his actual report for duty in UP NISMED on 16 January 2019 as Precision Instrument Technician II at the Maintenance and Equipment Development Section, Allan worked at the UP System Information Technology Foundation Inc. as Utility II and also served a special assignment as building administrator. Allan’s interests include playing basketball and riding a motorcycle.
Ms. Dianne M. Cabigting joined UP NISMED on 23 January 2019 to work as Administrative Assistant II at the Property Section. Dianne finished Industrial Electronics Technology from MFI Technological Institute formerly, Meralco Foundation Institute and worked as Finance Officer in a private corporation for 10 years. Dianne who is a Harry Potter fan, likes to read books, climb mountains, and listen to the songs of her singing idols, Taylor Swift and Coldplay.
Former Security Officer of Glocke Security Agency assigned to UP NISMED, Mr. Russell R. Quisto is now a member of the Desktop and Printing Section. He reported for duty on 26 January 2019 as Administrative Aide III. To maintain his body fit, Russell continues his cycling activity as a form of exercise and sport. He also enjoys being an amateur radio operator.
Ms. Pamela Kamil “Pam” E. Manalo joined UP NISMED on 16 May 2019 as Household Manager at the Hostel. Pam is a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines. She became Account Manager/Graphic Artist in a private company for six months. Pam, who likes photography, also likes to travel and to cook. Gifted with a very good singing voice, Pam shares her talent by performing with the UP NISMED Harana Group during the Institute’s special events and other social gatherings.
