Following the Training of Trainers, the UP National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP NISMED), in collaboration with Unilab Foundation, the Center for Integrated STEM Education, Incorporated (CISTEM), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education (MIT RAISE), conducted two rounds of training for teacher implementers of its AI Literacy curriculum. These trainings are part of UP NISMED's Program for Developing Artificial Intelligence Literacy among and learners, which will be rolled out over the next three years.
The training trainer teacher-implementers across different regions of the country who will implement the AI Literacy curriculum in their respective schools.

The first three-day training for teacher-implementers was held at the UP NISMED High School Chemistry Laboratory from 27 to 29 October 2025. The training brought together 29 participants from Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Northern Mindanao, and the National Capital Region. The second training was conducted in Iloilo City from 3 to 5 December 2025. This training welcomed 21 participants from Central Luzon, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Northern Mindanao.

During the training, participants explored the AI Literacy curriculum and engaged in activities designed to prepare them for classroom implementation. Participants developed implementation plans outlining how they will integrate and implement the AI Literacy curriculum in their schools This activity reinforced the program's emphasis on translating knowledge into action, ensuring that the AI Literacy curriculum reaches classrooms across participating regions.

These educators will serve as pioneers in their schools, introducing students to responsible and ethical engagement with artificial intelligence. As the three-year program progresses, UP NISMED continues to work closely with its partners—Unilab Foundation, CISTEM, and MIT RAISE—to ensure that Filipino learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate an increasingly AI-driven world.
