The Elementary School Science team gains a valuable player

Ms. Princes Raymunda G. Gatan successfully defended her thesis, Relationships among locus of control, future orientation, and environmental literacy of STEM students, in July 2019, earning a Master of Arts degree (major in Environmental Education) from the UP College of Education. Previously, Princes finished the Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme at the National Institute of Education in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2009. Princes, who joined the Elementary School Science Group in March 2019, was a former elementary science teacher at a public school in QC and in Jakarta, Indonesia. On a lighter note, Princes is a homebody who prefers to do a bit of experimental cooking. But that is not to say that her life is constricted to just home and office. She also spends a considerable amount of time for volunteer work – she has visited the prison (Bilibid) and has braved going to Basilan, Marawi, and other provinces to serve her fellow Filipinos as teacher. Truly, Princes is beauty and brain with a big heart.
