Ma. Garnet P. Biason joined the Elementary School Mathematics group in February 2019. Ms. Biason has been teaching various general Mathematics subjects in UP Diliman where she obtained her BS Mathematics degree in 1993 and Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics (Operations Research) in 1998. Aside from UP, she also taught at the University of Asia and the Pacific (2005-2009) and Miriam College (2009-2018). During her teaching years in Miriam College, she volunteered to be part of various teacher-training programs under the Growth, Upgrading and Resource Office (GURO). Besides teaching, she authored a book in general mathematics. She would often spend her spare time cooking, eating, walking, and going camping with her family and friends.
