The UP NISMED Library Outreach Program

In partnership with Cycle Army Ph, the UP NISMED Library hosted an inspiring outreach program for the World Youth Ministry on 28 June 2025. This vibrant event brought together storytelling, nourishment, and educational support to empower young learners and foster a love for reading.

The program kicked off with an interesting storytelling session led by Ms. Onyang Mosaso of the High School Biology Group. Her lively narration of stories from UP NISMED’s publication collection excited the children, sparking their imagination and curiosity. These carefully chosen tales delivered valuable lessons on compassion, courage, and creativity, leaving a lasting impact on the young audience.

A feeding program organized by Cycle Army Ph ensured that the children enjoyed nutritious meals. This thoughtful gesture created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, allowing the young participants to engage fully in the day’s activities with energy and joy.

The event also featured the distribution of essential school supplies and storybooks, generously provided by the UP NISMED Library and Cycle Army Ph. Each child received notebooks, pens, and other materials to support their education. Also, storybooks were donated to encourage a lifelong passion for reading and learning, empowering the youth of World Youth Ministry to pursue their academic and creative goals.

The collaboration between the UP NISMED Library and Cycle Army Ph showcased the strength of community partnerships. By combining their dedication to education and the youth, the organizers created a memorable experience. This synergy made the event a resounding success for the beneficiaries.

This outreach program highlighted the transformative power of community-driven initiatives. The UP NISMED Library remains committed to promoting literacy and education through such meaningful efforts. The Library looks forward to future collaborations with organizations such as Cycle Army Ph to continue uplifting young minds through reading and storytelling activities.

The UP NISMED Library extends its heartfelt thanks to Ms. Onyang Mosaso, the Cycle Army Ph volunteers, and all those who made this event a success. Together, the Library and its partners are nurturing a generation of inspired and empowered youth, one story, one meal, and one child at a time.
