Mr. Nestor “Jong” M. Manrique Jr. joined the Desktop & Printing Section effective 14 June 2022 as the new Printing Press Supervisor. He replaced Mr. Mario C. Gallardo who compulsory retired from the service beginning 21 March 2021.
Sir Jong came from the private sector. He worked as a Plant Manager, Plant Production Manager, Production Manager and QA/QC Manager in printing and packaging companies like Starkson Packaging Inc., Amira Printing and Packaging, and Interactive Packaging Inc., to name a few. He finished his BS Industrial Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology and was one of the first Industrial Engineers produced by the said school. He has also earned units in the Master of Science in Industrial Engineering program of UP Diliman.
Patrick Lyndon Genar A. Rodriguez joined the UP NISMED on 1 July 2022 as Administrative Assistant II. He was first assigned at the Library before his transfer to the Desktop and Printing Section. Patrick is currently enrolled at ICCT for his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science course. In 2016, he finished his diploma course in Information Communication and Management Technology at Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sta. Mesa. Before UP NISMED, Patrick served as Administrative Aide VI at the UPD OVCSA-Office of the Scholarship and Grants.
