Reyes attended the UP Diliman-wide Extension
Colloquium on 7 February 2014 held at Bulwagang
Tandang Sora and organized by the University Council
Committee on Extension Services (UCCES). There are
three main objectives of this colloquium, namely:
harmonize the basic definitions of extension services in
connection to the public service thrust of the university
as arising from the previous discussions; identify and
firm up recommendations for future actions; and
promote the extension services of UPD operating units
among its stakeholders. Perspectives on the university
extension services were presented by each of three
speakers namely, Dr. Glecy Atienza, Dr. Darlene Occeña-
Gutierrez, and Dr. Rosalinda Pineda-Ofreneo from the
College of Arts and Letters, College of Social Science and
Philosophy, and College of Social Work and Community
Development, respectively.
