NISMED staff conduct Lesson Study seminar-workshop in CDO

Dr. Amelia Punzalan and Arlene de la Cruz of UP NISMED conducted a three-day seminar workshop on Lesson Study and Science Inquiry on 27-29 November 2013 at Mindanao University of Science and Technology (MUST) College of Policy Studies, Education and Management in cooperation with the Mathematics and Physical Science Educators Society (MAPSES) in Cagayan de Oro City. The workshop was attended by 56 participants composed of 40 MAPSES (20 Math and 20 Physical Sciences majors) 8 MUST faculty, and 8 teachers from Macasandig National High School and Cagayan de Oro National High School. The 40 MAPSES members are currently doing the lesson study for their practicum sessions in the MUST laboratory school and in the Cagayan de Oro high schools.
