 | The University of the Philippines National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP NISMED) celebrates its 58th year this November 2022. Part of the celebration is a public lecture on 22 November 2022 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. with the theme, “STEM Education for Future-Ready Citizens: Challenges and Ways Forward”. During the public lecture, participants will get the chance to listen to talks from Dr. Carol O’Donnell, the Executive Director of the Smithsonian Science Education Center, and Dr. Gay Jane P. Perez, the Deputy Director General of the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA). Participants may join the hybrid lecture online via Zoom or in-person at the NISMED Auditorium. The lecture will also be streamed live on the following Facebook pages of the Institute: UP NISMED, Go Teacher Go, and Kasama Teachers Community. |
