Dr. Ferido Presents Paper at the UNESCO-APEID Conference

Dr. Marlene B. Ferido, Chair of the High School Chemistry Group, presented a paper at the 18th International Conference of UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Programme of Educational Innovation for Development (APEID), held at Holiday Inn Silom in Bangkok on 26-28 October 2016. As the Curriculum Program Leader of the Assessment Curriculum Technology Research Centre (ACTRC), Dr. Ferido presented a paper on Measuring Student Readiness as a Means of Evaluating Science Curriculum Reform. She discussed ACTRC’s approach as a means of evaluating the K to 12 spiraling Science curriculum and the degree to which it offered the opportunity to students to engage with the intended Chemistry curriculum.
